The Bringers of Justice, Project Mage rants

I can't believe I haven't upload my Project Mage protagonist set. 8D
I feel like my blog lacks my own original characters/story artworks. Currently I have some major mess around my original projects. They clash against one another and I need to realize at least one of them. It's awful :/

Anyway, here goes.

The Body of Justice: Athanos

Protagonist of Spirit Summoner: The Origin. Let's see... How to describe him... He's basically the sane, logic, somewhat bitter and sarcastic, outwits people every time, that kind of "heh" character type. I see Athanos something of a wiseass genre savvy hero. He and her partner role, Malaika will be the Deadpan Snarker-Manic Pixie Dream Girl combination. But both are quite witty and compatible to each other.

For the story itself, Athanos is a spirit summoner knight, probably something you would call nowadays an "agent" to the Greece Military. Athanos is sent to retrieve an ancient (yet forbidden) Spirit Summoner artifact. This artifact has been the interest of three clashing regions, the Greece, Rome, and Persia, since it holds a very mysterious ways of manipulating souls and its connection to the demi-gods. On his way, Athanos bumps a quirky a runaway spirit summoner priestess in training named Malaika. Athanos befriends Malaika (and taking the chance of her being Persian) to show him the way to the artifact. But in their journey, Athanos and Malaika discover the awful truth about the war and the corruption within leagues of Spirit Summoners on the countries. Short, justice is up to them.

Athanos came from a very high upbringing. His father is one of the high rank commanders on the military. His mother and sister died on childbirth. Leaving him to be nursed by a Spirit Summoner lady, whose husband never come back from war, Asterodhe. Asterodhe herself owns an orphanage and teach the children with wisdom of Spirit Summoner, the same value she taught Athanos since little. Asterodhe is the closest thing to a mother figure to Athanos and you might say she's the kind of person who holds the rmoral roots for Athanos himself. This connects to the next installment of the story, The Journey.

He also has that... Proud, I'm-expecting-something-from-you-son father. Obviously since his father is a respected commander. This build the sarcastic side of Athanos as he is pushed to use his competence at his best all the time.

Physically... I think he will be a typical Mediterranean person. Wavy dark hair, clear eyes. But he is well groomed and has the looks. I guess every main character are like that. :/

(I still have no idea why I write descriptions in simple present tense.... Oh hell with that.)

Athanos later will be the demi god of Justice, Vendettus. A spirit that guides Spirit Summoners, to umm well, justice of course.

The Maiden of Justice: Parthenia

Protagonist of Spirit Summoner: The Journey. Parthenia is actually introduced in The Origin. She was one of Asterodhe's children in her orphanage. In fact, she was the closest to Asterodhe and Athanos among the other children. Introduced as a prodigy Spirit Summoner at start, every one knew that Parthenia holds some kind of different destiny than any other human being. Asterodhe admits that Parthenia is an avid learner like Athanos was when he was small. When The Origin occurs, Parthenia will be somewhere around 6. She was the oracular waif type yet still childish and naive. Athanos did see her as a sister figure.

Which leads to her unleashing her Spirit Summoner powers and Athanos leave him his demi god transformed being, Vendettus to her spirit, as they have the bond and the power required. This leads Parthenia to limit herself and carry the burden being Vendettus' host. The Spirit Summoner community finally takes over her from Asterodhe.

The Journey begins as Parthenia seeks Invitia, the embodiment of all deviation, so Vendettus could battle her. First, she travels all over Europe to seek wisdom and ally. Parthenia, grew over her naive waif self, becomes a high, monotonous, burden bearing priestess that carries high respect for herself as well as all Spirit Summoner communities since she's technically the one to save the earth. Yes, most people who doesn't understand her hates her for being all "high". Still, Parthenia is young and secretly wonders if the wisdom she carries is the wisdom that is good for her. Basically she's a character  "characterized as this" at the beginning of the story and gain her freedom and understanding of herself as the story moves on. Parthenia is a typical "searching for myself" hero.

And poor thing longs for love. The only love she had was from Asterodhe and then she was taken. There she learns that there are chances to find love outside and create a new family/bond and stop doing things by herself alone.

Physically, Parthenia is the same with Athanos since they both come from the same region.

The Fighter of Destiny: Farulf

Protagonist of Spirit Summoner: The Only One. The story is a bit different than the others since it heavily lies on romance. So what Farulf deals here is the fact he is a Vendettus bearer (Bringer of Justice), his destiny to save the world, and his love. Yes.

Farulf is a very plain character. A loner, the kind of person that limits his feelings to other people. There are only a few people he's willing to talk to and only a few people understands him. As a stranger, you might view him as that weird loner yet is helpful to people.

Short, Farulf runs on a journey, abandon his knightly duty to fight at King Gustav's side against Denmark. It was actually a secret journey for him to a Spirit Summoner base in Russia as he is the Bringer of Justice since it was the predicted time for Invitia to once again appear on earth. On his journey, Farulf meets a mysterious girl, claiming to head towards Russia as well. The girl, Aino, is a Spirit Summoner as well and as the journey goes, things go as we all predicted.

No. You're wrong. It got worse.

But that is the premise for Farulf; to carry his destiny or his love to Aino. Aino herself goes through a similar dilemma. It's all drama and kinda screws your emotion in a sense.

I do kinda feel his character is a bit hard to mingle and somewhat shallow. Perhaps because what he deals is "I was living for one purpose only, but now I have more. And that other purpose gives me more meaning to live". He's kinda stubborn too. One more thing, he's the character that tends to let people have their way. He's kinda too kind. But that's what I'm going to shake at. Since he is too kind, I feel like there is a chance for him to question his own character at the story if his kindness is the right thing to do.

The story relies heavily on the drama and the "starcrossed lovers" theme. So Farulf needs Aino to become a character. So does Aino.

Farulf is a typical nordic with blonde hair and blue eyes. I don't know. For Spirit Summoner I tend to make my characters as typical as where they are from.

The Bringer of Destiny: Reed and Henrietta

The protagonists of Spirit Summoner: The Destiny. It's actually quite a long story why both of them are Bringer of Justice. Story roots to The Journey. But short, they are special Bringers of Justice and the last one to carry Vendettus battle against Invitia.

Both grew up in the same orphanage. Reed is the vocal one, Henrietta is silent. He's kinda obnoxious, consumed to his own way, also daring. He has the reminiscent of Athanos' snarkiness combined with Aedhan's (one of Parthenia's important ally on The Journey) impulsivity. Yet, though Reed seems to be very egoistic, he's the type that is willing to receive his lost. When Reed is down, he becomes quite introspective. I see Reed's vocal is something like Britt Reid from Green Hornet movie but has heart like a Captain Tsubasa character. Reed has brown eyes, brown hair, and big boned. Kinda but not too chubby. I picture him (realistically) as someone who's not too handsome but is nice to look at.

Henrietta, as the yin to Reed's yang is more whimsical in her own way. Short to say, she's a cloudcuckolander as well as a lovable dork. She is the reminiscent to young Parthenia from The Origin. Henrietta questions everything, survives better on a library rather than a dining table. Her soul wonders, literally. She's the person that Reed will sincerely laugh with as well Reed is the person that can make Henrie laughs sincerely. Henrietta also has her snarky moments though it mostly caused by her childish honesty and her good reference. I imagined Henrietta is petite and has a very plain face. She has thick, long, wavy hair like Emma Watson's Hermione at early Harry Potter movies but strawberry blonde. She has green eyes.

Both are so close, they have to be in pair though not necessarily a "couple" in romantic sense. I prefer the term soulmates. They have bonds closer to separated twins despite they have no family connections or whatsoever (originally).

Actually, they aren't the actual protagonists. They are the heroes, but not the protagonists. So The Destiny goes like this; as the protagonist acts as the storyteller, Christopher, then the heroes are Reed and Henrie. Both of them consider Chris as their father-figure since they bound to a journey together. They can be described as a father with a set of twins.

To be honest, writing and developing characters is more enjoyable than to write the script. Perhaps I'm not that good enough. But I try anyways. They're too good to waste
